Greetings to you!!

Welcome to St. Martin Sr. Sec. School, Bhawanikhera, School Website. As Principal of the institution I consider it my privilege to pen down my message for our newly launched website of our school.

It was Margaret Mead who said "Children must be taught how to think, not what to think". Education is not an act of acquiring knowledge but learning a skill to lead life and forming one's personality. schooling is the first contact with the world for a child outside home. schooling is a period of joy, healthy competition, adjustment, sharing and love. It is not the wide open spaces, classrooms, the library, laboratories or the large fields that make the school for a child.

Aristotle once said that, "Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all."

Many people consider education as a medium of getting good jobs, living a royal life, earning money and much more. But the real goal of education doesn’t really mean this. The goal of education is achieved when one’s way of thinking is transformed and one starts thinking for the betterment of the society, country and world at large. On the whole education means holistic development of a child not only restricted to the achievements of academics but also helping the child to come up with those inherited knowledge to build a better tomorrow; with a disciplined way of life. Keeping this in mind we provide the students value based education, opportunities to grow in every sphere of life both in academics and in their personality development. In the field of co- curricular activities, games, and sports our students are paving their way towards great heights.

I take this opportunity to thank God Almighty for his benevolence, generous blessings showered upon St. Martin Sr. Sec. School through our Patron, Saint Martin and various people and events since 1906. I would like to gratefully remember our pioneers Rev. Fr. Augustine, Rev. Fr. Arma and all those who offered dedicated service towards this institution.
